The soundtrack to Bad Trip is a bit of a hidden gem. It opens with 'Bad Trip Suite' (4 min, 33 sec) which basically lays out the vibe for what is to come. This, as well as 'The Fight' and 'Run for the Bus', were the main highlights for me. There was a depth and beauty here that is rarely found on projects of this nature.

In all honesty, I'd recommend this score on just those three segments alone, but there's still plenty to discover and enjoy. The song, 'I Saw a Girl Today' is a tongue in cheek homage to musical theatre. There's also a nice mix of traditional orchestrated music and modern electronic themes. And every now and then a hip-hop sting is thrown in for good measure.

This is a delightful score that constantly surprises.
