Milan Records bring fans the soundtrack to the second season of Modern Love, which includes music featured in the Amazon Original series. Gary Clark and John Carney have written both instrumental music and original vocal tracks featuring performances by Rosie Carney, Nerina Pallot, John Byrne and Andermo. I'm never usually a fan of soundtracks that mix the score with songs, but in the case of Modern Love it works incredibly well. It basically follows the rule of having a song, followed by a segment of the score, followed by another song... and so on.

'Flirting On a Train' stood out for me. It opens as a romantic Ennio Morricone-esque piece before transforming into a Bernard Herrmann-esque track.

It's a great album to play in the car or to just chill out to. If you're a fan of the show then this is an essential musical souvenir.
