I Feel Fine release The Cold in Every Shelter, via Venn Records. The foursome from Brighton describe themselves as an indie/emo/math-rock band which shares similarities with artists such as American Football, The Hotelier, Algernon Cadwallader, Crash Of Rhinos and The Appleseed Cast, as well as many bands affiliated with the Topshelf Records label...

The Cold in Every Shelter is an album worth checking out for the simple fact that it's original and powerful. It's a release that I enjoyed from the first play through and am still enjoying over a dozen listens later.

While the band describe themselves as an indie/emo/math-rock band, I'd also argue that there's a slight punk-ish edge to the tracks that help give it an edge. The album contains 10 songs (34 min, 20 sec) and every aspect of this album has been carefully fine tuned. From the cozy, mellow opening of 'Something New to Worry About' to the hypnotic winding down closing element of 'Fold', it's pretty obvious that the band really care about the music and the presentation.

A rich and varied album that will stay with you for quite some time.
