Sony Music Masterworks releases the original soundtrack for the movie Queenpins with music by composer, singer-songwriter, and producer Siddhartha Khosla. The movie centres around two best friends who begin an illegal couponing scheme. Also included on the soundtrack is an original vocal track performed by singer-songwriter Steady Holiday entitled 'Living Life (Queenpins Mix)'...

If I'm being honest, the synopsis for Queenpins doesn't sound like my sort of film. However, Siddhartha Khosla's score is an uplifting, enjoyable collection of pieces that stayed with me for quite some time.

There's a theme, that runs throughout the score, that reminded me in spirit of Alan Silvestri's music for Back to the Future. This is probably most prevalent on the track 'Scam'. In many ways this score reminded me of soundtracks from the '80s and '90s and I love it all the more for that.

The score is a little short, consisting of 16 tracks (24 min, 53 sec) but there's very little bland filler material.
