Stephen Schwartz’s Snapshots: A Musical Scrapbook is an original musical which incorporates over two dozen of Stephen Schwartz’s songs from his hit and award-winning musicals including Wicked, Pippin, Godspell, The Baker’s Wife, Rags, Working, Children of Eden, and Enchanted. Snapshots: A Musical Scrapbook is a touching and authentic look into how we fall in love and the poignant power of trusting our hearts and memories. The show features a stellar cast who have performed in well known Broadway musicals, including John Cardoza (Jagged Little Pill), Mariand Torres (Hadestown, Prince of Broadway), Michael McCorry Rose (Anastasia, Wicked), Monica Ramirez (Working, Godspell), Ryan K. Bailer (Evita) and Olivia Hernandez (Austen’s Pride).

As a project this works well, revisiting some of Stephen Schwartz's best known songs and presenting them in a different format. Many of them have new lyrics penned by Schwartz and if you know the original songs really well hearing them with new lyrics can be a little disorienting.

The plus point is that you'll already know most of the music, so you're already onboard for whatever the production throws at you. Thankfully it has an interesting plot, so it's not hard to fall in love with the songs all over again.
