Edengate: The Edge of Life follows with the well worn familiar plot point of an individual waking up in a strange place with amnesia. The goal is to fathom out why you're there and what on earth is going on. The game is atmospheric and engaging but is more of a walking sim than it is an exploration game. The game is short and the collectible element is so easy that it's almost impossible not to find everything. You never really feel that you're doing anything but being shepherded through the narrative. On a technical point of view it was a little disappointing to see that the controls for the camera couldn't be inverted. Thankfully it's an incredibly cheap game, with nice production values, that offers a little intrigue for a short amount of time. 6 Nick Smithson Buy this item online
