Retro Goal is a fast paced mix of arcade soccer action and simple team management, from the developers of New Star Manager and Retro Bowl. Choose a team from the world's favourite leagues and recruit the superstars, professionals and hotheads who will lead you to victory - then take full control on the pitch and make every touch count...
Growing up in the '80s I was never a huge football fan. However I did enjoy football based computer games. Skip forwards to the early 2000s and me and my non-football loving son would play quite a few football console games. Retro Goal took me back to being a teenager again. This '90s style game offers graphics inspired by the most beloved football games of the 16-bit era. There's a good mix of manual ground passes and automatic ground passes to keep the energy of the game high. Tackling allows you to select your defender and move him into the right position for a slide tackle.
Choose one of the 496 playable teams from 24 of the world's favourite leagues and recruit the superstars, professionals and hotheads who will lead you to victory - then take full control on the pitch and make every touch count. You really couldn't ask for much more. The atmosphere will take you back in time and the RRP is so cheap they're practically giving it away. Any football fan should add this to their game library. Many hours of nostalgic fun awaits. 8 Nick Smithson Buy this item online
