Hex is a powerful and memorable instrumental rock album from Toundra. It kicks off with the three-part 'El Odio' (21 min, 42 sec) which slowly builds before offering up a reflective, more mellow conclusion. It's a wonderful way to kick off. This is followed, at the halfway mark, by 'Ruinas', a track that opens with a slight industrial edge before opening out to transform into a well-paced piece.

'La Larga Marcha' and 'Watt' deliver more of the same. However closer, 'Fin' is a much more laid back piece, showcasing a softer side to the band and helping to provide a little diversity.

For fans of instrumental rock, Hex proves worthy of your attention.
