Lance Warlock's original soundtrack for the movie Love N Quarantine is released via Plaza Mayor Company Ltd. The film follows Ben and Caroline Marshall, who have been married for years. Thrust into quarantine, their love gets put to the ultimate test... For me, the biggest issue with this score is that it's really just a collection of music cues, intricate and interesting enough, but sadly each track is just too short. The album contains 65 tracks (1 hr, 21 min, 43 sec). You can't say you don't get your money's worth, but there is quite a bit of material that just feels like filler. In addition, some of the tracks that use the same theme are placed too close together. For example, 'Love Me Tonight' and 'Help Myself' have the same structure and same theme. This wouldn't have been quite so obvious if one didn't follow on from the other. To be perfectly fair you can simply go through the album and remove the atmospheric filler material and you'll still have plenty of enjoyable music. While not particularly groundbreaking, Lance Warlock's music here works incredibly well in the movie and stands on its own two feet when listened to in isolation. 6 Darren Rea Buy this item online
