Milan Records release the original soundtrack for Season 3 of Emily in Paris. One year after moving from Chicago to Paris for her dream job, Emily finds herself at a crucial crossroads in every aspect of her life. Faced with two very different paths, Emily will have to decide exactly where her loyalties lie - at work and in her romantic life - and what those decisions mean for her future in France, all while continuing to immerse herself in the adventures and surprising twists and turns that life in Paris provides... As you'd expect, for a series set in Paris, the soundtrack to Emily in Paris contains many of the cliched instrumentation and sounds that most will associate with the city. The album represents a good mix of songs and score ensuring that fans of the series will be satisfied with the end result. Personally, I felt the cliched sound to be a little lazy and while I understand why the producers went this route I did wish for a little more originality. I did enjoy what they did with Charlie Chaplin's original 'Smile' song and on balance I found Chris Alan Lee's score upbeat and perfect for the series. 6 Darren Rea Buy this item online
