A retro racer updated for the modern age, Formula Retro Racing: World Tour fuses the pick-up-and-play simplicity of '90s-style arcade racing with realistic physics, split-screen multiplayer, and 60fps performance. Building on the success of the original retro racing hit, Formula Retro Racing: World Tour introduces new tracks and car types for an additional level of depth. You'll race through iconic global locations, compete against other drivers, and try to beat your lap times. Do you have what it takes to master each racing line, hug every apex, and cross the chequered flag to victory...?

This sequel offers the opportunity to drive rally cars with drift capability

Formula Retro Racing: World Tour is the follow up to 2020's Formula Retro Racing. In all honesty if you own the first game there's little here that's going to shake your world. And, as the original game was only £5 and this sequel is over three times the price... I'm left wondering who this will appeal to.

While the first game featured F1 cars, this sequel also offers the opportunity to drive rally cars with drift capability while cornering. The great thing about the game is that every car the game has to offer is available from the start. The only thing you unlock for completing races is new tracks.

Race through a diverse range of tracks across various game modes

The game pays homage to classic arcade racing games of the early '90s. Featuring fast and exciting game play, crisp low poly visuals, retro soundtrack and high speed action. Race through a diverse range of tracks across various game modes to beat your personal best times and compete in the leaderboards.

While it's fun, frantic and challenging, you might be better off buying the original first and, if you love that, then spending another £15 for this sequel is a no brainer.
