Viewfinder is an interesting entry into the puzzle adventure genre. The game allows you to reshape reality in order to solve puzzles as you explore a world full of mystery. Photos, paintings, sketches, screenshots and posters can be placed in the world to become a fabric of its reality, reshaping the environment around you. This mechanic plays with perception, evolving in surprising directions that will keeps players challenged with every new puzzle they encounter.

What I loved, and really appreciated about this game, is that it slowly introduces you to the mechanics, so you don't feel suddenly thrust into this new world and out of your depth. You start with the pretty basic concept of wandering around your environment before you're introduced to the possibility of stepping inside photographs you find laying around. Next, your shown that you have the ability to turn the photos to another angle, allowing you to use elements of that photo in ways you wouldn't have otherwise thought about.

Use elements of photos in order to access hard to reach areas

Yes, I did find it frustrating at times. And, yes, I did get stuck from time to time. But this is part of the game's charm. It makes you think. Makes you mad. But ultimately it challenges you in ways you might not be used to. And that alone is recommendation enough to warrant picking this up.

The game is crying out for a VR option, because I can really see how immersive and engaging being able to step into each photo would be. But even as a flat release this is incredibly immersive.
