Ensure the survival of your populace

At its heart Gord is a city builder with survival elements. Build structures to house and service your population, send scouts out to forage for material and ensure you have guards keep a watch out for enemies and wild beasts.

When you start you'll be given the opportunity to choose the difficulty level of the game. And there's an ingame tutorial that doesn't actually feel like you're being handheld through the game's mechanics.

As you progress you'll engage in side quests which will take some of your population on a quest into the unknown. Choosing the right people for the job is always a challenge, and each member of your group can be trained in various roles to give you an edge. Will you take with you an archer? A swordsman? Or will this next quest require something a little less violent? You decide as you plough ever forward.
