Ever had a hankering to become an electrician? If the answer is "Yes!", Electrician Simulator may just be the game you are looking for.
You start your journey at a low level, with little in the way of resources, your overall aim is to achieve your professional certificates whilst making money. The money you earn goes towards new tools and any fittings you might be asked to install. Do all this right and you gain experience. The game is centred on your laptop. This is where you will pick up jobs and manage your business. There are various options you must choose from an action wheel, when on a job, but the iconography is not at all intuitive and I spent too much time trying to work out how to use the game. First up, the presentation of the game is fine with nice backgrounds representing the properties you visit, with a good frame rate. Fitting sockets, I am sure, is the bread and butter of this trade, but I got a bit tired of doing this. Repairing circuit boards and devices was more interesting as it had a puzzle element to it.
The two things I had against the game, and I am not stating the repetition, if you bought something called Electrician Simulator you should know what you’re getting into. Nope. First are the controls, which on the PS5 are not that great, I am guessing that this was originally a PC game as the gameplay is more likely to need the use of a mouse and a keyboard for greater accuracy. Lastly, this is an American game so anyone outside that region will not be getting an equivalent experience as there are a multitude of different wiring regulations and voltages used across the globe. To be fair to the game, I will admit it wasn’t for me. It may be that the life of an electrician is this repetitive, but most will get plenty of that at their current place of work. 6 Charles Packer Buy this item online
