WaterTower Music has released two separate albums of music from Hogwarts Legacy - the open-world role-playing-game set in the 1800s wizarding world. The two albums offer fans a total of 75 tracks from the game soundtrack composers Chuck E. Myers 'Sea', J Scott Rakozy, and Peter Murray. Each respective album contains a completely different set of songs from the other... Like the companion release, Hogwarts Legacy Original Video Game Soundtrack, Hogwarts Legacy: Study Themes from the Original Video Game Soundtrack is bursting with non-stop quality. The album contains 41 tracks (1 hr, 59 min, 16 sec). It's a little more mellow than the Video Game Soundtrack and while it does pay homage to John Williams's music from the Harry Potter films, there's not as much focus on the composer's other scores. The album really does delve into the themes used throughout the game, allowing each to be showcased to their full capacity. Both albums compliment each other incredibly well and you'll find yourself revisiting them for years to come. I really can't recommend these albums enough. It's absolutely breathtaking what Chuck E. Myers 'Sea', J Scott Rakozy and Peter Murray have delivered here. These aren't just richly layered themes from a game, they also work as a beautiful collection of classical music in their own right. 10 Darren Rea Buy this item online
