Mayra Lepró and Alejandro Karo's score for This One is for the Neighborhood is released via Plaza Mayor Company Ltd. The movie sees an unlikely pair - a non-binary painter and an uptight woman - bond through the power of story, leading them to rediscover the meaning of home and close circles that burden them... The soundtrack to This One is for the Neighborhood isn't really an album and is barely an EP. The score consists of just 9 tracks (6 min, 50 sec). It's all over before it's even got started. What there is of it is laidback and a little on the melancholic side. However, with only one track lasting for more than a minute there really isn't time to build any themes or interesting set pieces. Each track appears to deliver a rather disjointed atmospheric background music cue. While I wasn't a fan of this - mainly because the music doesn't really go anywhere - I'm sure fans of the movie will find it worthy of their time. 4 Darren Rea Buy this item online
