Plaza Mayor Company release the original score for The Best is Yet to Come, with music by composer Yoshihiro Hanno. China, 2003. Bright-eyed and bushy-tailed journalism intern Han Dong is about to change the fate of 100 million people with a single article. Following a lead about illegal paid blood donations, Dong stumbles upon a conspiracy to fake health reports that show the person being free of Hepatitis B - a required condition for education and employment opportunities... Yoshihiro Hanno's score for The Best is Yet to Come is a laid back affair with plenty of intricate themes woven throughout. This is ideal as a chill out album, to put on the background and relax to. Of the 12 tracks here (34 min, 47 sec) there's no real beginning, middle or end. This feels more like a stream of consciousness, and I really enjoyed that about this release. It's almost as though you can pick up and leave this on any track and still get an overall vibe of what Hanno is striving for. It's mellow, sweet and engaging. And while it might not be a soundtrack you feel an urge to revisit too often, when you do you'll feel relaxed and satisfied once again. 7 Darren Rea Buy this item online
