Containing more than 2,200 entries from the most current Star Wars film and TV series, discover the vital facts about iconic characters, creatures, locations, vehicles, and technology from a galaxy far, far away... Star Wars: Encyclopedia is an updated edition of Ultimate Star Wars (2015) and Ultimate Star Wars - New Edition (2019). This new release has been updated to include more than 1,000 new entries on Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, Star Wars: The Mandalorian, Star Wars: Andor, The High Republic and more. Tucked within its 448 pages are comprehensive histories of 1,200 characters, from icons like the Mandalorian and Gorge to lesser-known individuals like Ochi of Bestoon. It includes entries for more than 100 fascinating creatures; 275 overviews of locations, including the Sith bastion on Exegol and Peridea. It delivers descriptions for more than 275 vehicles, from the legendary Razor Crest to the Sith Star Destroyer, as well as providing listings of the latest technology, Princess Leia Organa’s lightsaber, and more than 275 other pieces of equipment. The first thing you'll notice, however, is that this is not a tome that you'll want to drop on your foot. It's heavy... really heavy. And on a cursory flick through the pages it becomes immediately apparent how much focus has gone into delivering a book that is both visually pleasing and also packed full of informative text. This is the sort of book true lovers of Star Wars will cherish and constantly dip in and out of. There is the argument that anyone who has already purchased either of the Ultimate Star Wars releases may feel disgruntled having to pay out for the same content again. If you're not a fan of the new shows then there's no point in buying this release. For diehard Star Wars collectors, however, this will be an invaluable and beautifully designed addition to their bookshelves. 9 Nick Smithson Buy this item online
