Defeat waves of enemies as you battle through 6 stages

I had to smile to myself when I read the PR blurb for this title: "Re-experience the 2017 arcade classic...". So a six year old game is now considered a "classic" is it? To be fair this owes a lot to the original Street Fighter arcade games anyway.

This is a side scrolling beat-em-up. Defeat waves of enemies as you battle through 6 stages, engaging in 13 boss battles on your way to defeat your arch-nemesis, Shredder, in his own lair. The game has local co-op, so you can play with three other friends, each taking on the role of one of the Turtles.

It's fun and frantic, but soon starts to become a little too repetitive. Thankfully the constant introduction of new enemy types, and power ups helps to keep dragging you back for more. The boss battles aren't overly far apart either.

This is certain great fun as a couch co-op experience with close friends. Playing alone can just feel a little like going through the motions.

The graphics are nice and bold and the music and vocal acting is impressive. This is the perfect fix for those who love this style of game.
