Musashi vs Cthulhu is a fast paced action game where you take control of Musashi - the most famous warrior from feudal Japan - as he’s fighting for his life. The ronin is a victim of a terrible curse that makes him a target for unspeakable monsters. In each match, hordes of monsters spawns endlessly and attack until there's no one standing. The enemies comes from both sides of the screen and must be attacked with precise blows to bulging weak spots shown in their bodies. Challenge your friends to see who is the coldest and most precise warrior, even when facing impossible odds...

Frenetic gameplay will test your reflexes

There's not much to Musashi vs Cthulhu. It's a simple game that is surprisingly fiendish in its execution. It's a 2D scrolling beat 'em up where enemies come at you from both sides. Each has a weak spot (shoulder, stomach or knee) and you only get one chance to hit them in the correct part of their body before they attack you. Other creatures also appear and depending on whether they are flying, crawling or walking will determine whether you attack high, low or straight forward.

Frenetic gameplay means you will need both your attention and reflexes. It's very much a game you can pick up and play for short bursts, returning time and time again to try and beat your (or your friends or global leader boards) high scores.

It's a simple, yet challenging game that is cheap enough to make it worth while buying if you're into beat 'em up.
