UMC released the soundtrack to the documentary Eno. The album contains 17 tracks (1 hr, 14 min, 24 sec) spanning musician and artist Brian Eno’s 50-year career, including 3 unreleased songs. The soundtrack features work from early solo outings such as Taking Tiger Mountain, acclaimed collaborations with the likes of David Byrne, John Cale, Cluster and more recently, Fred again... all the way through to music from his latest album, Foreverandevernomore... For fans of Brian Eno's prolific output, the documentary movie Eno is something that will certainly pique your interest. And this score will certainly be on your essential purchase list. But even if you're not familiar with Eno's output you can't ignore how visionary and important his output has been. The 17 tracks bring forth a wealth of collaborative gold. It represents a snapshot of Eno's career offering plenty of highlights. It pretty much covers all bases, but I really enjoyed 'The Secret Place', which is eerie, unnerving and reminded me of Trevor Jones' score for Labyrinth. While this isn't for everyone, the demographic it's intended for will truly appreciate how solid this release is. 7 Darren Rea Buy this item online
