If you're au fait with the pieces here, you'll be glad to hear that Rodrigues treats them with the respect that they rightly deserve. It's very clear that these are works that she is not only knows intimately, but that she takes each performance and makes it her own.

Concertmaster Otto Derolez does an incredible job of pulling everything together and whilst most fans of Chopin's work will know these pieces inside out, the delivery and recording mix are second to none. I don't think I've ever heard these pieces performed quite so well as on this recording.

An essential addition to all classical music lovers collections.
