Polterguys is a supernatural multiplayer madness where 8 players use sneaky sabotage to get opponents caught by a raging monster. Play as mischievous ghosts who possesses every-day objects to gain special powers and show off. Battle in spooky maps full of traps and use whacky powerups to sacrifice your friends. Your powers of possession bring inanimate objects to life. Use them to fight, run away or just look darn good whilst you soak up the chaos unfolding around you...

It's the game's simplicity which makes it a really enjoyable party game

Polterguys is a spooky brawlfest where mischievous ghosts are being stalked by a deadly monster who wants to destroy them all. As one of the ghosts, your goal is to avoid the rampaging monster in the level, as he chases you and the other ghosts. If he catches you... it's game over. The aim of the game is to stay "alive" (strange terminology for a ghost, I know) for as long as possible. Use your surroundings, and various randomly spawned weapons, to stay ahead of your competitors and as far away from the prowling monster as possible.

Part of the fun of this game, if you're playing against friends, is the fact that you can sabotage your competitors with various weapons as you run around the level. There's nothing more satisfying than trapping your friends and hearing them shout at you for your deviousness. There are tonnes of powerups and traps sprinkled about the levels to help you create carnage.

Avoid the rampaging monster in the level

It's a simple game, with not a lot to it. However, it's the game's simplicity which makes it a really enjoyable party game. It will take you a while to get to know all of the weapons and powerups. This is a game that you can never really master (because you're playing against others who will be just as devious as you) and so each time you play it will be a totally different experience.

I really enjoyed my time with Polterguys. It's cheap and a lot of chaotic fun.
