Ratshaker is an interesting, rather disturbing little game, which delivers some fun elements into a crowded genre. The game is simple enough. You are the rat shaker. Grab a rat and shake it. Shake it real good. And if you do that, then you can progress to the next part of the story. As you move ever forward, you'll develop new moves and once you perfect those, you can progress further into the game.

For £3 you can't really grumble at what's on offer here. It's novel and, for a very short while, amusing. However, the novelty soon wears a little thin. There are only so many times you can grin as you shake your rat. And it's not overly obvious at all times what on earth you are supposed to do to complete the current part of the game you are stuck on.

It's not a game I'd want to play again, but if a puerile escape is what you're looking for, Ratshaker will momentarily fill that need.
