Killing Floor 3 brings absolutely nothing new to the table

I couldn't help feeling that the developers of Killing Floor 3 were just going through the motions with this one. There are so many great FPS on the market, but sadly Killing Floor 3 brings absolutely nothing new to the table. It feels like a really low grade wave shooter where the developers ran out of steam, or money, leaving a half baked game that gets old real quick.

The arsenal available is quite impressive, but I have to be honest and admit that I'll never unlock most of it because I found the game too grindy to warrant me coming back all that often. In fact, it was a real slog for me to keep firing this up and continue playing. I just found it to be repetitive and uninspiring in single player mode.

In co-op mode, which to be fair is what the game was designed for, there's a lot of fun to be had playing with friends... But then that's something that can be levelled at most co-op games. It's the company that's important.

The traps and turrets are engaging and fun to use, at first, but like almost every other aspect of the game, they soon become a little tiresome. For a big budget franchise, fans may be forgiven for expecting something with a little more meat.
