Milan Records releases an EP of music from the second season of Netflix’s original series Wednesday. This original soundtrack release includes a rousing piano cover of The Cranberries’ 'Zombie' and a vocal duet for Creedence Clearwater Revival’s 'Bad Moon Rising', both of which are performed onscreen by the show’s cast of characters, who also contribute their vocal talents to original vocal song 'Nevermore Alma Mater'... I'm still trying to grapple with how ham-fisted the release of the soundtracks for Season 2 of Wednesday have been. For some reason there appears to be two volumes for the score and two EP volumes for the soundtrack. Why on earth Milan Records didn't just release one soundtrack and one score is beyond me... However, checking on Amazon that's exactly what they have done... plus strange vinyl releases. Did someone at the record label give Thing the job of being in charge of the marketing? With this EP release we get four songs, but there's nothing here that's overly exciting. Interesting, yes. But hardly worth picking up as an EP. It would have been much more interesting if the score and soundtrack were collected together as one long soundtrack release. It's not a release I was impressed with. It's too short and Wednesday fans deserve much better. Track listing: 01. Dance Of The Knights 5 Darren Rea Buy this item online
