You awaken in a realm where death reigns supreme

If the above synopsis is something that you thought sounded intriguing, then you'll be glad to hear that Necrophosis is full of the same poetic horror. You begin as Consciousness, trapped within an emaciated, decaying vessel devoid of memories. Explore grotesque environments cursed with eternal deterioration to unravel fragments of the truth and learn why you have awakened.

The game is a walking puzzle game that sees you wandering around until you stumble upon the next puzzle. Some are intuitive... others, not so much. However, the dark, macabre world you inhabit helps to sell the Lovecraftian's nightmare that you're thrust into.

It looks incredible and plays well. I'd have enjoyed it a little more if the developers had eased off a tad on the overly long poetic element. But I suppose to some that will be the game's charm.
