Infinite Crisis: The Companion collects four Specials
spinning out of DC Comics' biggest even, Infinite Crisis -
taking readers on a journey throughout the four corners of
                    the DC Universe...
                  In
the aftermath of the universe-shattering events of Infinite
Crisis, the new heroes and new alliances forge ahead in their
                    very distinct missions.
                  Former
                    Checkmate agent Sasha Bordeaux (The
OMAC Project) must deal with the threat of
a still-sentient Brother Eye; the Shadowpact (Day
of Vengeance) fight to ensure that the Ninth
Age of Magic can even begin; a new mission beckons for Catman
and his ragtag team of only partly reformed villains (Villains
                    United);
and in deep space, two civilisations struggle to rebuild after
                    The
                    Rann-Thanagar War.
                  I
may be stating the obvious here, but if you haven't been indulging
yourself in the ongoing Infinite Crisis saga then this
really isn't the time to start. It's not that it's overly
complicated to follow, just that you'll get a hell of a lot
more out of this collection if you've read The OMAC Project,
Day of Vengeance, Villains United and The Rann-Thanagar
                    War.
                  While
there is a brief explanation at the start of this book (which
helped refresh my memory on the main events - I didn't really
want to wade through The Rann-Thanagar War again thank
you) it doesn't really do them justice and, despite the fact
I was no huge fan of The Rann-Thanagar War and Day
of Vengeance has a weak plot, I strongly advise you to
pick all four of the aforementioned collections if you really
wanted to get the most from Infinite Crisis Companion.
