All hands on deck! Complete with a whole host of swashbuckling
catchphrases from the film and a menacing 3D skull motif,
the Pirates of the Caribbean Talking Pen is perfect to keep
little pirates entertained...
Released
to coincide with the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie,
Dead Man's Chest, Character Options have produced a
talking pen that captures some of the movie's phrases.
You
might think that £7 is a little pricey for a retractable
pen. But, to be fair, quite a lot of thought has gone into
its design, and the soundbites are rather entertaining (even
if I couldn't work out what one of them was meant to be saying).
The
pen comes complete with six phrases. One plays each time you
push down the top of the pen and they are looped, not random.
The phrases include:
- "I
couldn't have done it better myself"
- "What's
in it for me?"
- "Who
much do you know about Davey Jones?"
- "Dead
men tell no tales"
- "[something
I couldn't quite make out] ye scurvy scum"
- "All
hands on deck"
The
design of the pen is fairly robust - and shouldn't have little
hands breaking pieces off to try and see how it works.
This
pen would make an excellent gift for a young fan of the movie.
