Someone, it seems, is determined to destroy David Eliot's school. A year ago, when he first arrived, David would have been more than happy to see the end of Groosham Grange and its ghoulish teachers. He even tried to escape a couple of times, but now he has settled in and is thoroughly at home there. But now his world looks set to be turned upside down by person, or persons, unknown...

The Unholy Grail is the second, and final, release in the Groosham Grange series by Anthony Horowitz. As with the first tale, Groosham Grange, this audio book is read by Nickolas Grace.

David Eliot has well and truly settled in at Groosham Grange - he's even on course to win the Unholy Grail, a golden cup of magical power presented to the star pupil each year. However, when a new boy, Vince King, arrives, David's title as best pupil looks to be under threat.

Vince is a natural at all subjects, or so it appears, and it's not long before he's in with a serious shout of winning the Unholy Grail - much to David's concern. But is this all down to Vince's academic ability? Or is something much more sinister going on. A series of very suspicious mishaps sees the the gap between David and Vince shrinking rapidly.

Could Vince be cheating? David has seen him slipping away from the school at night - where can he be going? Who is trying to stop David winning and worse, threaten Groosham Grange itself? Can David keep his lead over Vince, and work out who, or what, is trying to close Groosham Grange, before Halloween (the date when the Unholy Grail is presented to the school's most academically gifted pupil)?

The second spellbinding book in the Groosham Grange series, set in a school where no lesson is ever normal and the teachers include vampires, werewolves and a two-headed headmaster. As with the previous audio release, Grace's reading is perfect for this tale. He puts in just the right amount of enthusiasm and wonderfully brings each character to life.
