Alan Moore transports the reader into a world that is complete
and uniquely his own, one that makes you feel right at home.
In this collection the celebrated scribe presents his take
on some of Wildstorm's most enduring characters - WildC.A.T.s,
Deathblow, Voodoo and Majestic, and special guest star Spawn,
all of whom live in exotic - sometimes even outlandish - worlds:
a stripper turned superhero turned private detective; a world
populated by the clones of a secret agent; a time-twisted
tale of a man who travels years into the future merely to
find that even there, his past remains out of reach; and the
last story of an immortal at the end of time...
                  Alan
                    Moore: Wild Worlds
presents an all-new collection of acclaimed, best-selling
comics writer Alan Moore's work for Image and WildStorm comics,
beautifully illustrated by a host of top artists. This collection
features long out of print and hard to find stories from Alan
                    Moore's past.

Two of comics' hardest-hitting titles converge in the time-travelling
antics of Spawn/WildC.A.T.s: Devil's Day; Cats member
                    Voodoo's life is explored in Voodoo: Dancing in the Dark;
action-man Deathblow battles his own clones in Deathblow:
Byblows; Mr Majestic travels to the end of time in Wildstorm
Spotlight #1 Majestic: The Big Chill, and Ladytron discovers
the horrible truth about Tao in WildC.A.T.S #50: Reincarnation.
                  The
highlight for me was Deathblow: Byblows - mainly because
the artist is a personal favourite of mine. I've been a huge
fan of Jim Baikie's work for years.
                  While
this will no doubt be an essential purchase for Moore fans,
those unfamiliar with the backgrounds to the characters might
find themselves in over their heads.
