Belldandy and Keiichi are caught up in the battle over the
Earth's fate when The Lord of Terror suddenly takes over Urd.
The Lord of Terror summons the Demon gate, and woe to us all
if its opened.
The world will be overrun by demons. The Valkyrie, Lind, is
sent from heaven to execute The Lord of Terror by any means
necessary and whatever host body it happens to be using. Belldandy
in turn is given the holy flute to summon the mighty Midgard
Serpent to fight, but The Lord of Terror can jump from one
body into another, therefore escaping peril. Will she be able
to take up arms against her sister Urd, or Skuld, or even
Keiichi...?
Ah!
My Goddess is
based on the original story by Kosuke Fujishima, which was
serialised in Kodansha's monthly magazine Afternoon.
The
four episodes on Volume Six include:
Ah!
The Saviour of the World Arrives with the Sound of a Flute:
It's all gone to hell in a hand basket. Heaven's computer
system is in total chaos thanks to the carefully planned attacks
from the Lord of Terror. Urd decides to release the Ultimate
Destruction Program in a bid to destroy the world and allow
the demons to spring forth and rule over what's left of our
planet. Belldandy and Skuld stand up to their sister and God
gives Skuld a magic flute in a bid to help them stop the Lord
of Terror's evil plan.
Ah!
Always By Your Side: Belldandy and Skuld confront the
Lord of Terror. But when Keiichi tries to help the Lord of
Terror possesses him. Now Belldandy is forced to attack Keiichi
is she wants to save humanity.
Ah!
Urd's Little Romance: The Lord of Terror has finally been
thwarted (no surprises there). Running low on energy Urd takes
on the physical appearance of a younger version of herself.
She accidentally meets a boy in a playground and the two strike
up a friendship. While Belldandy and Keiichi try to cure Urd's
condition, she starts to realise that the young boy may have
developed a crush on her. The ending to this episode is extremely
sweet and is certainly the closest that the show has come
to tugging at the heartstrings.
Ah!
Is My Heart Pounding Because I'm a Grownup?: Urd is back
to her normal physical appearance, but before everyone has
a change to get used to everything being back to normal Skuld's
physical appearance suddenly changes when she becomes a full
grown woman. She has one full day to experience life as an
adult.
Extras
include Production Art Gallery; Japanese Cover Gallery;
and Screen Shot Gallery.
Volume
6 has a particularly good mix of episodes. There's action,
adventure, comedy and a sweet tale. What more could you wish
for?
