Award-winning Age of Empire co-creator Brian Sullivan has
extended the epic Titan Quest story into the dark and
disturbing underworld of Hades. Fresh from you victory on
Mount Olympus, you've settled the troubles above - but now
trouble is brewing below. Battle all-new enemies in an intricately
detailed subterranean realm of dark intrigue and death-defying
adventure. From the bands of the River Styx to beyond the
Elsian Fields, classic foes and allies await...
For
those of you who bought and loved Titan
Quest
comes an add-on that will make you remember why you were hooked
on the original in the first place. One of the aspects of
the original game that always impressed me was how huge the
gaming environment was. Well that has now been expanded even
further.
In
this epic quest of good versus evil, players will encounter
the greatest villains of Greek mythology, brave the attacks
of Cerberus, and hazard the banks of the River Styx. Along
with new foes, you will find new allies. On your travels you
can interpret the prophecies of the blind seer Tiresias, fight
alongside Agamemnon and Achilles, and use the wiles of Odysseus
to defeat powerful enemies.
Titan
Quest: Immortal Throne features an original storyline
with more than 12 hours of single-player content per difficulty
level. New game-play features include an all-new skill mastery
that combines with existing masteries to form eight new playable
character classes. Titan Quest: Immortal Throne also
adds dozens of new monsters, hundreds of unique weapons and
an additional ten levels of character and skill development.
These
additional character levels allow you to bring existing and
new characters to new heights, along with higher level equipment
and skills. The new quests guide you through locations in
the Mediterranean area and into the heart of Hades. There
is also a new type of rare equipment that gives your character
a powerful bonus, as well as new non-player characters that
can create artefacts from recipes.
A
treat for Titan Quest fanatics - it's certainly an
add-on worth investing in.
