MotoGP '07 is a next-generation motorcycle racing title,
delivering an authentic MotoGP racing experience. Featuring
lifelike visuals, complete 2007 rider and team data, new 800cc
MotoGP bikes and the newly-announced Misano event,
the game's GP mode is more robust than ever before. The title
also features interactive track-side crowds, intense on-line
tournament features, on-line "pink-slip" racing, a revamped
Extreme mode (that allows players to race on city streets
around the world) and significantly more bike and player customisation
options...
MotoGP
'07 is
the latest game in the MotoGP franchise and includes
fully licensed riders, tracks and bikes from the current 2007
MotoGP season. This upgraded offering includes 17
rebuilt and expanded extreme tracks; full extreme bike customisation
affecting bike design and performance; 20 all-new extreme
bikes; up to 16 online players per race in GP and Extreme
mode; pink slip racing that allows you to gamble your bike
on-line; new online tournaments; improved AI (realistic avoidance,
human error, improved rider bunching, improved AI slow cornering);
improved accessibility with more challenges, tutorials and
reward system; and
new and improved rider animations.
To
be honest, whether you really need to purchase this when you
can pick up MotoGP '06 for a fraction of the price
is really going to be down to whether you are such a MotoGP
fanatic that you want all the latest bells and whistles.
It's
a great game, don't get me wrong, and if you own MotoGP
'06 and have exhausted all your options '07 offers
much more to keep you stuck on your bum in front of the PC.
But if you are coming to this franchise fresh I'd recommend
trying out '06 first.
