BradyGames latest official strategy guide is for the World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King massively multiplayer online role-playing game.

While, at first glance this book looks like a good thick, quality product, I did have a few issues with it. Firstly it's printed like a magazine with its pages glued into the spine. This is not the most ideal binding for a book that's going to get a lot of thumbing through and have it's pages left open while the reader plays the game and reads the text. Then there's the fact that there are pages and pages on the Quest section of the game - but no tips on how to complete any of them - which surely is the most important aspect of a guide book. Surely no one is interested in reading about the pure basics of the quests.

For World of Warcraft addicts that want more background information on their world - as well as a handy guide on the dungeons, arenas, maps, a breakdown of the classes and inscription - this book, while not quite the definitive guide, will help fill in a few blanks. Just don't expect it to offer much more than a lightweight overview.
