Heart: Live captures sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson’s complete uncut performance on the acclaimed PBS concert series Soundstage. Smash hits like 'Barracuda' and 'Even It Up' share equal billing with the ‘80s ballad-tinged 'These Dreams' along with songs off their latest album, 'Jupiter’s Darling'.

While I'll admit I'm not a huge Heart fan, I did buy a couple of their albums at the height of their fame. One song is very noticeably absent from this set: 'All I Wanna Do Is Make Love to You', which I'd argue is a lot more well known than a lot of tracks on this DVD.

Also, the sisters aren't fantastic live either. While there are a few flat notes, their performance is seriously toned down when compared to the voice-belting studio recordings, and the other guitarists aren't overly impressive either. Some of the guitar solos are pretty flat when you compare them to the those on the studio based albums.

This is really only going to appeal to those that have followed the band from its early beginnings up until the present day. Those that only know a couple of their songs may well be disappointed by this release.
