She & Him is formed of Zoe Deschanel and M Ward. The duo make music the old fashioned way, achieving the warmth and charm of pop and country records from the early and mid part of the twentieth century. 'Why Do You Let Me Stay Here' is reminiscent of '60s girl group pop.

However, while the title track is a beautiful throwback pop number, the second track sees them murdering Neil Young's 'Lotta Love' with all the enthusiasm of a misguided contestant on X-Factor.

'Why Do You Let Me Stay Here?' is taken from the band's Volume One album and is a promising, if short (at 2 min, 31 sec) track that leaves you wanting more.

'Why Do You Let Me Stay Here? 'is well worth picking up, just pretend 'Lotta Love' never happened.
