The Moonbus from 2001 is one of the best-loved SF movie
craft - it's simple but elegant design is a timeless classic.
And this monster of a replica - 1:35, 16" - does the Moonbus
proud.
Like
the 60s Aurora model, the MIM monster comes complete with
a removable roof and interior detail. And the level of detail
is simply amazing, although for £250 you'd expect nothing
less. However, the model really does demand its price tag,
it's that good.
According
to MIM the model, based on original blueprints, took six months
to develop and it's easy to see why - this is a masterpiece.
So if you like 2001 and have some spare cash then this
model is for you.
