Air
Hogs air pressure engines are a recent introduction to this
country. You get a pump and a plane and you pump air into
the body of the plane which then powers the propeller and
lets the plane fly for about 30 seconds to a minute.
We
trailed the Firestorm model (although you can buy helicopters
and there is even a remote controlled series) and let me tell
you what a great time he had. Mind you, there is nothing sadder
than watching half a dozen 20-40 year-olds running around
a field excitedly throwing a toy plane around.
We
took a number of school children out with us for a two hour
test drive and they were unanimous. This is about as much
fun as you can have out doors.
We
took 4 girls (aged 5, 9, 10 and 14) and five boys (aged 4,
6, 8, 9 and 10) out and let them each have 10 minutes to play
with this. They all found it great fun and we adults also
managed to grab a go.
If
you are looking for something to entertain you and the children
this summer then this is the choice. These are fantastic.
I must have lost about 7lb running around like a nutter.
