you haven't read the book, listened to the radio series or
watched the TV series of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the

This
release is one of a select collection of popular audio productions
from the BBC that are taking advantage of the new MP3 CD format.
The
Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy comes on two discs. Disc
one includes all episodes of the original radio series (originally
available on six CDs), while disc two contains Douglas
Adam's Guide to The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy -
a behind-the-scenes look at the series, followed by an interview
with Douglas Adams. The first feature has some great interviews
with the original cast and crew from the radio series and
the television show.
I
was incredibly impressed by the £20 price tag for this
collection. While I already owned the radio series on CDs
this new release is incredible compact and I am sure this
format will catch on incredible quickly. This release also
has some incredibly detailed sleeve notes.
If
you've never heard the original radio series then you really
should get your hands on this. If you already own the series
on CD I'd still recommend that you splash out (come on it's
only £20) and purchase this.
An
excellent new format and a fantastic release from the BBC.
I can not recommend this collection enough.
