Phobe receives a premonition shrouded in fog. After a little
research the sisters discover that an opaque vision is not
one yet cast in stone, and so find themselves in a race against
the clock to prevent the dangerous vision coming true...
Mist
and Stone is an extremely slow moving book and not the
most gripping of plots. The first half seems to be more interested
in a moody teenage boy who hates everyone and doesn't want
anyone's help, believing that he is better off on his own.
This
book could easily have been half the length it is, and would
no doubt have been a better read as well. Most teenagers (the
books are recommended for a 12+ age range) will probably be
unable to wade through the first half of the book.
Sadly
disappointing addition to what has, so far, been an interesting
range of books.
