                    It's Halloween - a witch's favourite holiday - and Sabrina
and her friends have been invited to a major blow-out. The
only problem is Roxie doesn't have a date, and she refuses
to go to another party solo. Meanwhile Sabrina turns a hunky
male action figure called Kurt into a living, breathing flesh
and blood. He's just Roxie's type...
                  What
                    a Doll captures
                    everything about the Sabrina
                    TV
series that made it a success. Nancy Krulik's writing style
is fluid and engaging and never patronises the young reader
                    - which helps to ensure that this book is accessible to young
                    adults.
                  Krulik's
writing is also, in places, a little too scary - Kurt's favourite
CD lyrics are supposed to make the reader wince in discomfort,
but you might have a little problem keeping your lunch down.
Yup! They really are that awful.
                  If
you are a Sabrina fan, then you will be in your element
here. A great book that stands up to repeated readings.
