Aaron
Allston's writing is strong and engaging and his acknowledgments
list is intriguing. Who, for example is Dan Hamman or Debby
Dragoo? They sound like they could be Jedi Knights.
This
novel starts, as all New Jedi Order books do, with
a map of the regions of the galaxy this effects, a novels
timeline and a list of characters, just so you don't get in
over your head.
Allston
is a writer of enormous potential and I hope to see more of
his work from the Arrow stable in the not too distant future.
To top it all Dave Seeley has worked his magic and given us
one hell of a great cover. Star Wars fans will not
be disappointed.
