Before He-Man, Transformers and the Ninja Turtles,
kids throughout the world thrilled to the weekly cartoon adventures
of a brave band of heroes defending the Earth from the evil
                    Zoltar - a group known as G-Force...
                  Ah,
now this is what I call nostalgia. Transformers are
dull in comparison to the adventures of G-Force. Anyone who
remembers getting up on a Saturday morning to watch Battle
of the Planets will love this original story which brings
everyone's favourite characters into the 21st Century. Jason,
Mark, Princess, Keyop and Tiny are all here. Yet they will
seem slightly different to how you remember them.
                  If,
like me, you were saddened to see that the cartoons were not
as great as you remember when they were released on DVD last
year then this graphic novel will help you rediscover what
it was about Battle of the Planets that captured your
                    imagination as a child.
                  In
Trial by Fire Mark and Jason are constantly fighting
for the number one position, Tiny has a serious food addiction
and Keyop's secret porn stash is discovered. I also noticed
that Zoltar looks like a bizarre drag queen with way to much
                    lipstick on.
                  Fantastic
artwork and a gripping up to date script drag Battle of
the Planets into the here and now. And at a measly £8
                    it's fantastic value for money.
