                    Once,
Michael O'Sullivan was the "Angel of Death", the
Irish mob's most feared enforcer. Once, his son was an innocent
youth. Now, neither is was what it once was. Tragedy has brought
them together on a mission of vengeance. A mission that takes
them through America's heartland to rob banks of funds hidden
there for safe keeping by Chicago Gangland...
                  Oasis
                    is
the first in a three part collection that charts the six month
period in the O'Sullivans' lives spent robbing banks across
America's heartland - events that were only touched on in
                    the movie.
                  Master
storyteller Max Allan Collins pulls out all the stops to fill
in events left untold. And if the remaining two releases are
as good as Oasis, then Titan can look forward to these
graphic novels flying off the shelves.
                  Jose
Luis Carcia-Lopez and Josef Rubinstein's wonderfully detailed
artwork sets just the right atmosphere and is almost cinematic
                    in its staging.
                  Personally
I would have preferred to have seen a collection of all three
stories under one cover. The 94 pages presented in this collection
looks much smaller due to the fact the publishers have opted
for an A5 format for release. This, coupled with the quality
of paper used, detracts painfully from what could have been
                    a 10/10 release.
                  Worth
                    getting your hands on though.
