Star Wars: A New Hope is history. We all know the events which unfolded and brought the Empire to its knees. But what if things had been different? In this alternative reality the Deathstar was not destroyed and as a consequence the Jedi movement has been crushed...

Star Wars: Infinities throws up an interesting alternative future to the events after Star Wars: A New Hope. While a number of events that took place in the movies are still here the whole universe has a more sinister feel to it.

The artwork in this graphic novel ranges from excellent to poor. The first quarter of the book sees some really poor artistic interpretations of the actors. Han Solo is particularly badly drawn and Chewbacca looks like he is wearing a toupee and comedy beard. But as the novel moves along the artwork picks up until we are treated to almost faultless reproductions of the movie's characters.

For fans of the Star Wars universe this is a must own collection, and even for the casual observer it should raise a smile. It's just a shame about some of the artwork.
