                    Following 30 years
in captivity at the hands of an alien invader
the science heroes of Terra Obscura had a difficult time adjusting.
Socially, culturally, even technologically, They're out of
fashion. A whole generation grew without the benefit of a
world of heroes. Now S.M.A.S.H. has disbanded, Mystico has
gone into seclusion, and Tom Strange has vanished...
                  Terra
                    Obscura neatly
ties in with events that were unravelled in Tom
                    Strong Book Two).
                    The
main plot behind this story is based on the near duplicate
Earth which Tom Strong discovered in 1968. This planet, which
Strong called Terra Obscura, was attacked by an alien soon
after Strong returned home. The result being that Terra Obscura's
                    future changed considerably.
                  Fans
of Tom Strong will be impressed with this collection, and
those who are not fans of Strong will also find much of interest
                    - you don't really need to understand what has gone before
as the majority of this information is presented in a brief
summary at the start of this collection.
                  The
art work is damn impressive and Titan have gone for a high
quality feel for this release - nice glossy cover and quality
                    paper stock. Although,
I thought it a little cruel to push Peter Hogan into second
place when it is obvious that this is mainly his work.
                  A
worthy addition to add to your comic collection.
