Dwight has been fooling around with a girl whose ex-partner,
Jackie-Boy, regularly gives her a beating. Dwight decides
to follow Jackie-Boy and his gang and put a stop to his abusive
behaviour. But when Jackie-Boy's crew head in to Old Town,
a run down area where the local prostitutes are the law, Dwight
knows they are all headed for a heap of trouble...
                  The
                    Big Fat Kill, while
never packing the same punch as The
Hard Goodbye, is still an action packed adventure.
                  Dwight
has a history in the dreaded Old Town, one he's not too keen
to revisit. And when the local girls decide to have a little
fun with Jackie-Boy and his gang, it's not too long before
everything goes pear shaped. Jackie-Boy has a hidden secret
that will make them all wish they had stayed in bed that morning.
                  The
whole thing plays out like a cross between a Mike Leigh and
Quentin Tarantino movie (if you can imagine that) and the
                    end result is extremely satisfying.
                  Frank
Miller's script and artwork are as sharp as we've come to
expect. His black and white illustrations bring a grittier
feel to the plot - something which just wouldn't have worked
                    quite so well in colour.

                    cracking graphic novel from Titan.
