Professor turned criminal Jonathan Crane specialises in fear.
He knows how to take a simple phobia and turn it into a life-threatening
syndrome. Since his introduction, the Scarecrow has been one
of the Dark Knight's most difficult foes to defeat...
                  Scarecrow
                    Tales consists
of eight stories by some of the best known Batman writers
and artists charting Scarecrow's dastardly deeds from his
earliest appearance in the '60 to more recent tales.
                  The
first tale explains Scarecrow's origins and his first encounter
with Batman and the Boy Wonder. Scarecrow is well know for
his working relationship with the Joker and Batman fans will
be pleased to hear that there are stories that see both of
Batman's foes pitting their wits against the Dark Knight.
                  This
is an interesting addition to the Batman range, and
one I'm hoping that will spawn further versions featuring
other Batman foes that are a little less well known than Joker,
Penguin, Catwoman or Riddler. I'd really love to see collections
that feature Clay Face, Killer Croc, Mad Hatter and Two Face.
                  This
is certainly one collection that serious Batman fans
                    will want to own.
