Retired super-hero and current New York City Mayor Mitchell Hundred makes the most controversial decision of his political career. As the major's administration deals with the fallout, a supernatural terror stalks the subways beneath Manhattan. What connection does this mysterious new threat have to Hundred's past as the heroic Great Machine...?

Tag is a worthy follow-up release to the enjoyable The First Hundred Days. Major Mitchell Hundred's past just keeps coming back to haunt him. What possible connection could his past have to a bizarre spate of recent deaths linked to an odd graffiti tag? Plenty as it happens.

Brian K. Vaughan's creation comes vividly to life thanks to Tony Harris's incredible art work, as the narrative weaves backwards and forwards between the past and the present.

Thankfully this collection, unlike The First Hundred Days, doesn't use the tragic events of 9/11 to drag the readers in. While there are a few minor references, they are kept strictly in the background.

Ex Machina is rapidly becoming one of the 21 century's must own collections. Pick this up and I can guarantee you won't be disappointed.
